Andrea Alford

Practice Manager

After moving to the island with her family in 2021, Andrea joined the Kalinka team and brings with her 20+ years of client service experience. Consider her your go-to for anything administrative, like booking a meeting or help with your IG online account. She is a natural people person and continues our tradition of providing an excellent experience to each client.

Andrea has five children, is an adept hair stylist, enjoys exploring the outdoors with her dogs, and enjoys coffee as well as wine (the good stuff).

Nyles Moisson

Executive Assistant

Nyles strives daily to provide exceptional financial service and guidance to every client with the ultimate goal of adding value to their lives through diligence and transparency. Nyles's focus is to build relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to help them achieve their goals.

Nyles graduated from the University of Victoria (UVIC) with a bachelor’s degree in economics with a focus on the principles of market supply/demand, cost-benefit analysis, and economic policy.  Nyles is fully licensed as a Wealth Associate and is able to support our clients with trade orders, update meetings, and in building investment and financial planning recommendations.  Nyles joins the Kalinka Group with over 3 years of brokerage industry experience.

Outside the office, Nyles is an accomplished tennis player, having played Division 1 Men's Tennis for the University of Nevada-Reno, USA, prior to returning home to UVIC. Nyles also enjoys playing classical guitar, biking, skiing, and traveling abroad.

Anna Copley

Executive Assistant

Anna is excited to be a part of the Kalinka Group!  She brings steadfast client service, responsiveness, and an empathetic and personalized approach to working with our client families.

Before taking time off to raise her family, Anna worked in a variety of client service support roles in both the private and public sector.  Most recently, while being home with her two small children, Anna kept herself busy running a successful small business here in Victoria.   Balancing the demands of work-life and mom-life has taught her the value of excellent organizational skills and effective time management. She loves connecting to others and always looks forward to getting to know and supporting our clients.

Anna loves spending time in the summer with her husband and two children at their family cabin on Hornby Island.

Shannon Kalinka

Events and Marketing Assistant

Shannon brings a strong background in social media, communications and marketing our team.   She leads The Kalinka Groups’ social media communication and website, and is our point-person for client events and other marketing campaigns throughout the year.

 Shannon also has a background in Early Childhood Education and Child and Youth Care.  Prior to joining the Kalinka Group, Shannon has spent the past several years running social media pages advocating for conscious parenting of elementary-aged children, and more recently has focused on support and education for families with neurodivergence and ADHD.

In her spare time Shannon enjoys camping with her family, the occasional glass of wine, and spending time with Mike and their two daughters.
